West Brom: Fans react as Baggies slip to second after defeat to Boro

West Brom are going through a slight dip at the moment in terms of their form in the Sky Bet Championship and will be looking to get themselves back in shape ahead of a massive game on the first day of 2020.

The Baggies have drawn two and lost one of their last three games in the second tier and the most recent result came as a real shock as they lost at home to Middlesbrough.

No side at the top of the league is showing real strong form at the moment, though, and therefore the Baggies find themselves still joint top on points, though Leeds United are now ahead of them on goal difference.

Even so, they’ve got a chance to reclaim top spot outright on Wednesday as they host the Whites at the Hawthorns in what should be a cracker.

Plenty of fans are already gearing up for that, too, and their responses help make up what was said after the loss to Boro at the weekend.

The simple truth is that we haven't been good enough since after the Swansea match but have been able to scrape decent results with most results elsewhere helping us. Too many players having off games at the same time. Its now time to roll our sleeves up and put in the graft.
