West Bromwich Albion’s game with Leeds United was the pick of the bunch going into the first round of Sky Bet Championship games of 2020 and it largely lived up to its billing.
The two sides have been the standout pair so far in the second tier this season and both will feel as though they can win the title from the other.
Indeed, it is hard to make a case for any of the sides below them making it into the top two as none are really showing amazing form and so we could be in for a tussle for the title between this two.
The match last night largely reflected that, too, as they battled it out for a 1-1 draw in the end and both sets of fans will probably be fairly content with that when all is said and done.
