Tonnes of West Brom fans are eager for Matheus Pereira to reclaim his place in the starting XI this weekend when the Baggies make the trip down south to the capital to face off against Milwall.
The Brazilian youngster has missed the previous three matches for West Brom after the attacker was found guilty by the FA for violent conduct after Pereira was caught by TV cameras elbowing Stoke City midfielder Joe Allen in his last appearances for the Albion (per BBC Sport).
Slaven Bilic’s side managed their first Championship win of 2020 in the absence of the 23-year-old winger, with the Baggies claiming a comfortable 2-0 win against league strugglers Luton Town. Although the Baggies have kept top spot without the Sporting Lisbon attacker, plenty of supporters on social media were eager for Pereira to take his spot in the XI despite Filip Krovinovic impressing in place for the South American attacker.

Pereira takes his throne back behind the striker.
Krovinović’s hard work and good form means he should sit alongside Livermore on Sunday.
I love Sawyers but Krov is putting the pressure on for a starting place.— JonW1995 (@JonW1995) February 4, 2020
Straight back on

I always say never change a winning team…… but how can you not put a player back in like Pereira

I think if he’s honest that not even krovinovic would believe he will keep pereira out.
