West Brom: Fans want Chris Willock in first-team contention

West Bromwich Albion will be looking forward to getting back to league action this weekend against Charlton Athletic as the Baggies aim to keep their promotion challenge going.

The men from the Black Country and Leeds United are the two sides to beat this season in the Sky Bet Championship and proved that with a tight but engrossing affair at the Hawthorns on New Year’s Day as they drew 1-1.

Only goal difference is keeping them separated in the league right now and up next for Albion is a visit to Charlton – in a repeat of the Cup game at the weekend.

It’s likely Slaven Bilic will name more senior players for that one than he did at the weekend, too, though some of the youngsters shone at The Valley last time out.

They continued to do so last night, too, with Chris Willock and Ray Tulloch impressing in a 4-2 win over Reading:
