Our West Ham fans are hoping for a busy window and, according to The Daily Mail, they are set to get it with Lille rivaling them for the signature of Michy Batshuayi on loan.
The Hammers have really struggled for goals this season with Simone Zaza failing to find the net so far and Andy Carroll once again suffering with injuries.
The east London side have managed to claw themselves in to mid-table despite that, though, but will be wanting to sign some extra players to make sure they keep away from the drop for the rest of the season.
That’s why, then, they appear interested in Batshuayi who has not had much game time for Chelsea this season.
The young Belgian signed for the Blues earlier in the summer of this season but has seen himself firmly behind Diego Costa in the pecking order so far.
He’ll need to get out, then, for extra minutes and whilst West Ham are keen, they seem to have to be ready to battle Lille to sign him.
Our landlord thinks, though, that he should go to West Ham on loan, as he will get better experience there.
