West Ham have dismissed Manuel Pellegrini following the Hammers’ 2-1 defeat to Leicester City, and some fans have a successor in mind who does not go by the name of David Moyes.
As things stand, Moyes appears to be the leading candidate, with The Telegraph reporting that the 56-year-old practically has the job if he wants it. However, supporters on Twitter do not want to see their ex-boss return to the London Stadium, calling for Niko Kovac instead.
Kovac is, of course, unemployed following his own dismissal from Bayern Munich and would represent an ambitious target.
As well as managing the European giants and guiding them to a Bundesliga title, Kovac has also been at the helm at Eintracht Frankfurt where he won the German Cup, showing his pedigree.
Considering that, it is no surprise that many West Ham fans want to see the Croatian in the London Stadium dugout instead of Moyes.
