West Ham fans won’t be happy at all this weekend. Whilst the FA Cup 5th round ties are taking place the Hammers will be watching their squad as they take part in a warm-weathering training camp in Spain, something that wouldn’t be happening had they been able to overcome Wimbledon when they faced them in the 4th round.

Manuel Pellegrini has taken to Twitter to make his comments known that the Hammers are not going to Spain on holiday and that they are going to get work done. His comments on the West Ham website have been tweeted by the club’s official Twitter account, but the supporters aren’t all buying it and they’re expecting to see plenty of picture of Andy Carroll enjoying himself in Spain.
Last season saw the Hammers jet out a little bit further afar as instead of Spain they took a flight out ti Miami, and all that was to be found of their work was pictures of Carroll, who was ‘injured’ at the time, walking around the training ground and having a laugh. However, the Irons will be forced to eat their words about their training camps if they come back from Spain and smash Fulham.

This is the real reason they got beat by Wimbledon. A free weekend and holiday

Nothing like getting away for a week in the sun to ( clears throat) work
You know now you have to smash Fulham to warrant this holiday— Grimmer (@grimmer1895) 11 February 2019

Lose against Wimbledon, get a free couple of weeks in Spain and a weekend off! I wonder why the players put in 0 effort to win

The Hammers don’t like the idea of their players getting a free weekend off after losing to Wimbledon and will hope the time away can have an impact and they can smash Fulham when they return.
