A lot of West Ham fans are discussing the clubs latest reported transfer target as le10sport suggests, via West Ham News, that the club are in talks with Ligue 1 side Amiens to sign forward Serhou Guirassy.
The report added that fellow Premier League sides Chelsea and Tottenham are also enquiring about the player so it will be interesting to see where the player ends up.
The striker has racked up a tally of nine goals in 24 appearances in all competitions this season, as per Transfermarkt, and these statistics highlight his keen eye for goal.

Those figures suggest that he could possibly link up well with Sebastien Haller. Guirassy has picked up two goals more than Haller, whilst he has on average two shots per game compared to the 25-year-old’s 1.9 shots, via WhoScored.
The Hammers striker has been linked with a move away from the club, via The Express, but instead of seeing the Amiens forward as a replacement, the club could perhaps partner the two up front together to improve their firepower. The East London side have only scored 35 goals this campaign, as per Sofascore, which is probably a big reason as to why they find themselves 16th in the league and only two points off Aston Villa in 19th.
Here is a flavour of the reaction from some West Ham fans to the links with Guirassy – one Hammers fan claimed he would rather see on-loan Jordan Hugill get his chance at London Stadium:
West Ham are in talks with Amiens to sign striker Serhou Guirassy, but Tottenham and Chelsea want the striker as well.

Grant at Huddersfield, Daka or Diallo would all be far better signings!

Personally I would prefer to see Jordan Hugill given a go.. 13 championship goals. I would also like Nathan Holland blooded especially if we can get Premier restart with no relegation… Perfect time to see if these guys and others can make it at the top level
