West Ham United youngster Nathan Holland has joined League One outfit Oxford United on loan until the end of the season (via whufc.com).
The 21-year-old has been in impressive form for the Hammers’ under-23 side this season, scoring 11 goals and providing six assists in just 12 appearances (Transfermarkt).
He has also managed to make his first start for the club in the EFL Cup, ironically against the U’s, whilst he also made his first Premier League appearance this season against Wolves (whufc.com).
But West Ham have seemingly decided that the best thing for his development now is to get regular game time in the Football League and he joins a club who are going very well this term, sitting fourth in the League One table (BBC Sport).
It seems that the majority of Hammers supporters agree that Holland’s move to Oxford is a good one, with several taking to Twitter to wish him luck.
