West Ham: Fans react as they hear about about Jordan Hugill

A lot of West Ham fans are reacting to the latest reports suggesting that Jordan Hugill will be sold in the summer, according to ClaretandH, via West Ham Gossip.

The Irons signed the striker in the January transfer window on deadline day in 2018 for £9.18 million from Championship side Preston North End, via Transfermarkt, but the Englishman has not really set the world alight in East London. In fact, the 27 year-old has only made three appearances for the Hammers and has failed to score.

Due to this, the player has been loaned out to the Championship on multiple occasions, last campaign he went to Middlesborough and only scored seven goals in 41 appearances, however this season he is on loan at Queens Park Rangers where he has fared better, scoring 14 goals in 35 appearances.

It is safe to say that the league below England’s top flight is probably Hugill’s level, and due to this it seems sensible for the club to put him up for sale, particularly as he has been in decent form this term, so that they can use that money to improve their squad.
