West Ham: Fans react as training ground reopens

It has recently been reported that West Ham United have reopened Rush Green training ground with plenty of restrictions, and a lot of the fanbase have been reacting to this news.

According to West Ham News, the club has followed in the footsteps of Arsenal who have allowed their players to train, after recent events has caused football to be postponed for around six weeks and training facilities have had to be shut during this time.

Football.London reports that one player is allowed access to the site at one time whilst no one is allowed at all in the main complex building at the training ground. Players who don’t have safe access to green space are being granted permission to have a jog around the Rush Green pitches.

They have to bring their own training equipment with them, provided to them by the club, and they must arrive and leave the training ground alone having done their training.

It will be interesting to see if other clubs start following what the Hammers and the Gunners have done, but it still looks like the Premier League returning is a long way away.
