West Ham United are thought to be closing in on the signing of Samir Nasri, however, it appears that the Hammers have another player on their radar.
Manuel Pellegrini is believed to be considering on whether to look for new additions in the winter after splashing out in the summer.
However, a number of those signings have already been hit with injuries, with Andriy Yarmolenko set to spend the rest of the season on the sidelines.
As mentioned, a deal for Nasri appears to be on the cards as the London Evening Standard ran with the story that the former France international is undergoing a medical with the Hammers.
The 31-year-old is banned from playing competitive football until the turn of the new year, however, he is allowed to train with the squad.

The news that West Ham are ‘studying another major Premier League player’ will certainly be exciting, however, fans will not want to get ahead of themselves too quickly.
Many are believed to be underwhelmed with the imminent arrival of Nasri, so many will wait to reserve judgement on who else could potentially arrive at the London Stadium.
It would not be wrong to consider that a striker or midfielder could be next in line to become an Iron, however, it remains to be seen who exactly is on Pellegrini’s radar.
