West Ham United already have a number of great academy prospects at the club, however, it appears as though they are looking to add another to their ranks.
The African forward is currently a free agent after he mutually terminated his contract with Reading at the end of September and has already started training with the Premier League outfit.
He was highly-rated at the Royals, having played in their Under-23 squad since the age of 15 and consistently finished as the top goalscorer for his age group, per the report.
Faniyan is believed to be strong, have a lot of pace and power, whilst he also offers some versatility as he can play out on the wing.
The Verdict:

It is difficult to pass a judgement on a player that not much is known about, however, if a club like West Ham are taking a closer look, he must have something about him.
If it is to be believed, Faniyan appears to have an extremely bright future ahead of him and will look to impress onlookers at the London Stadium outfit.
What does raise question marks, however, is that if he is as highly-rated as the report suggests, why has no one taking a closer look at him earlier, since he left Reading two months ago?
