West Ham United overcame stubborn opposition in their FA Cup third-round tie against League One outfit Gillingham on Sunday.

The Hammers were held by the Gills for the majority of the game, but ultimately managed to come away with a 2-0 win after late goals from Pablo Zabaleta and Pablo Fornals (BBC Sport).
It was certainly a grind for the east London outfit to get the job done at Priestfield and it would be fair to say that some of their players were not at their best.
One of those was Manuel Lanzini, who failed to have much of an impact on the game at all. Indeed, the Argentinian attacking midfielder played no key passes and had no shots on target throughout the 90 minutes, whilst he was also dribbled past twice and lost possession on 15 occasions (SofaScore).
The 26-year-old’s below par display was certainly noticed by the West Ham supporters, many of whom were quick to criticise him on Twitter after the game.
Here is what some had to say…
When’s Lanzini going to turn up this season? Asking for a friend. ⚒🤐#WHUFC
