West Ham United: Fans react to latest injury update on Lukasz Fabianski

West Ham United manager David Moyes has confirmed that Lukasz Fabianski is getting close to a first-team return and could even feature in their next Premier League fixture against Liverpool (@WestHam).

The Polish shot-stopper has endured a torrid time with injury this season. He picked up a hip problem way back in September against AFC Bournemouth and since then he has missed 13 Premier League games (Transfermarkt).

He did make a brief return just after Christmas and completed 90 minutes against Leicester City and Bournemouth, but he suffered a recurrence against Sheffield United which has forced him to miss their last two league fixtures (Transfermarkt).

The Hammers recently re-signed Darren Randolph from Middlesbrough (BBC Sport) to provide more cover in the goalkeeping department and he has started in each of their last three matches in all competitions (Transfermarkt). Now, he could be set to lose his place due to the return of Fabianski.

However, despite Moyes suggesting the Pole may play against Liverpool, it seems that some supporters do not want him to. Indeed, they aren’t keen on rushing the former Arsenal man back into action as they do not want him to suffer another setback, which would be a major blow to their hopes of avoiding relegation.

Here is what some had to say about it on Twitter…
