West Ham United are considering making a move for AFC Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser this summer, that is according to a report from the Mirror.
The Scottish international’s contract at the Vitality Stadium is set to expire at the end of the campaign and it is suggested that the Hammers hope to take him to the London Stadium on a free as he fits the profile of player that new manager David Moyes is looking to sign.
The 25-year-old is also thought to be of interest to both Arsenal and Liverpool, however the Gunners are likely to focus on signing defenders in the summer whilst Liverpool distanced themselves from a move earlier in the campaign (Mirror).
Fraser is a player who does have a pedigree in the Premier League. Indeed last season he contributed with seven goals and 14 assists in the league from a wide position (Transfermarkt).
However, it seems that many Hammers online don’t believe it will happen. Indeed, plenty seem to be resigned to relegation to the Championship and therefore have questioned why the Scot would want to drop down a league. Here is what some had to say about it on Twitter…
Won’t want to play in the Championship next season
