West Ham United will have been rocked by the latest claims that Marko Arnautovic could look to leave the Hammers in the near future.
The Austria international’s future has been blown wide open after recent comments from his brother, who is also his agent, who stated that the striker is “ready for the next step” and “should not play against relegation”.
Manchester United are thought to have been heavily linked with a move for the attacker, as Jose Mourinho has worked with Arnautovic at Inter Milan.
However, it is also being claimed that the Hammers will refuse to bow down to those demands as it would shatter their pay structure and could potentially upset their dressing room.
The Verdict:

Arnautovic has been a key player for the Hammers since joining from Stoke City and his recent comments would have rocked those at West Ham.
However, the club will feel they have no pressure to sell the player as he still has another four-and-a-half years left on his £130,000-a-week contract.
It remains to be seen in regards to what happens with the Austrian, however, there will likely be more developments in the very near future.
