Arsenal are monitoring Newcastle United left back Lewis Hall. Hall has been in exceptional form for Newcastle this season, and particularly impressed during the club’s 1-1 draw with Barcelona in the Champions League Round of 16 first leg clash last week.
The 21-year-old is regarded as one Newcastle and England’s brightest prospects. Caught Offside has reported that Hall has caught the attention of Arsenal alongside Liverpool, Manchester City, RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund, and several La Liga clubs.
Arsenal is reportedly considering letting their own promising young left back in Myles Lewis-Skelly leave on loan next season and could be in search of cover in that position. Liverpool are rumoured to be in search of a long term successor to Andy Robertson despite the summer signing of Milos Kerkez.
Manchester City are also believed to be ready to overhaul their squad this summer, with fullbacks a known area of concern. At the moment no concrete interest in Hall has been registered by any club, and Newcastle are unlikely to allow the player to leave this summer.
Arsenal keen on Hall

Hall is considered an integral part of the Newcastle puzzle and has a contract at the club until 2029. The Magpies are preparing a bumper new deal for the player in a bid to ward off interest parties.
Newcastle’s league position could prove a stumbling block for any contract extension though, with the Magpies currently outside of the European places. The club sit in ninth place in the Premier League table, seven points out of a Europa League finish and nine points out of a Champions League finish.
Failure to return to the Champions League could spell the end for several key names for Newcastle, with the likes of Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes also heavily linked with moves away from the club.
Hall is among the list of valuable assets and is valued between £65–70m.
