Leeds United fans were lauding Kiko Casilla after the Spaniard notched up his third consecutive clean sheet in last night’s win over Middlesbrough.
The former Real Madrid man was having a tough time as a mixture of poor performance levels and an accusation of racism seemingly took their toll on the 33-year-old. However, it seems as though the ‘keeper has put it all behind him with a good performance for the Whites last night. The highlight for the ace was his brilliant save from George Saville as he ensured his team left the Riverside Stadium with all three points (via BBC).
One fan called him ‘Europe’s finest’ with the player having kept the joint-most clean sheets when comparing all professional leagues from the continent’s top five countries.

He’s had his moments, but we still have the least goals against so far. He can be infuriating, but his stats don’t lie.
