The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have been able to watch some incredible players over the years, and there is no doubting that Frank Lampard is up there with the best of them.
The Englishman remains one of the best players to ever wear the blue shirt, and his goalscoring record is the stuff of legend. He is, of course, Chelsea’s current highest goalscorer – a record that is unlikely to be beaten any time soon.
Whenever his name is mentioned, Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern erupt into a chorus of ‘Super Frank’, and the latest Tweet from their club has left them chanting all day long.

He went on to have a legendary career, and so it’s no surprise that fans are full of praise for him on Twitter. They’re claiming that he’s yet to be replaced, and it’s tough to argue that that isn’t the case.
Lampard was, of course, recently appointed manager of Derby County.
