Plenty of Tottenham fans have been reacting to an update on a potential ban for Dele Alli, as the England star could still face a one-match ban for an offensive video shared on social media.
Spurs certainly have their fair share of problems in the squad depth department, particularly in forward areas, where injuries to Harry Kane and Son Heung-min have left Jose Mourinho without his star men while players like Alli and Lucas Moura are far from their best form.
And things could still go from bad to worse if the latest reports are to be believed, as The Evening Standard report Spurs are still waiting to find out Alli’s punishment for a video he shared referencing the Coronavirus. If the 23 year-old is charged with discrimination, he will face one match on the sidelines, which could perhaps leave Mourinho with no option but to deploy Erik Lamela as an emergency striker.
