Paris Saint Germain are looking to hijack Real Madrid’s move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen, as reported by The Daily Mail.
The suggestion is that they will try to bring him in during the summer of 2020, though Spurs are looking to offload the Denmark international in January, so that they are able to get a fee for him, with his contract coming to an end at the season’s culmination:

The idea of selling Eriksen in January has got plenty of Spurs fans excited, offering an indication of just how unpopular he has become at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Many Spurs fans feel that the 27-year-old has not been putting in enough effort when wearing the white shirt, with one fan calling him a “mercenary snake” after he assisted Denmark’s winner against Switzerland – a stance that isn’t helped by the fact he then missed the Watford game with a dead leg.
There are plenty of supporters who now simply want Eriksen gone as soon as possible, so are welcoming the idea of PSG taking him, though they would like it to be in January, rather than the summer.
