West Bromwich Albion: Fans lay into Oliver Burke following loss to Millwall

West Bromwich Albion fans laid into winger Oliver Burke after the club crashed out of the Carabao Cup to Championship rivals Millwall.

The 22-year-old has failed to hold down a permanent place in the West Brom team since his move from Red Bull Leipzig in 2017.

Burke has made just 23 appearances since moving from the Bundesliga and spent the second half of last season on loan at Celtic.

Burke and his West Brom teammates endured a nightmare performance as they failed to beat Millwall for the second time in three days.

The Baggies drew with The Lions in the Championship last Saturday after a late equaliser by Matt Smith.

The loss caps off a mixed start to the season for new manager Slaven Bilic, who has won, lost and drawn each of his first three games.

Shocking result, Millwall have done a job on us twice in 4 days.
Our play was great, but once Austin went off we lost a strikers presence and our direct play. Burke is finished in my eyes, terrible positioning, terrible dribbling, terrible passing and a touch worse than Rondons!
