Many associated with West Ham were not best pleased with the way the club acted during the transfer window.
They sold two academy prospects in Josh Cullen and Grady Diangana, whose same drew the public fury of captain Mark Noble. However, the latest news surrounding the Hammers has pleased a lot of the fan base, with reports that their owners would be willing to sell the club.

According to The Athletic and as tweeted by @whufc_news, David Gold and David Sullivan have decided that they would sell West Ham should they receive a good offer to sell their shares. Even though any suggestion that the club could be sold will likely be downplayed publicly, reports suggest they would privately listen to offers.
The relationship between many Irons fans and the owners has not been good, as evidenced starkly by a vocal on-pitch protest against the ownership whilst West Ham were playing Burnley at London Stadium in 2018.
This news could be music to the ears of many supporters and it will be interesting to see if any good offers are made to buy out the club:
