Drop him: Monk must axe these 2 players from today’s starting Leeds United XI against QPR

Garry Monk has turned things right around at Leeds United after what was a rocky start for the former Swansea manager.

His ability to get some exciting young players playing well with some more experienced heads, has led the Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern to be a happy bunch of late.

Their midweek draw at Fulham was another good performance for the Elland Road club, and they will be hoping to pick up three points this weekend against a rejuvenated QPR side.

Talk over by the fruit machine by the Leeds fans has been about team selection, and those players who Monk could well look to leave out this weekend to try and secure the home win.

With this in mind, we have taken a look at TWO players Monk could look to axe for today’s game with QPR…7

Hadi Sacko

Sacko was replaced in midweek against Fulham, and could well see his starting place come under threat this weekend.

With Leeds having an abundance of talent to call on within the squad now, Sacko could easily be replaced by the likes of Mo Barrow, who will  be hoping to cement a more prominent role in the team between now and the end of the season.

Kemar Roofe

Despite an impressive turnaround in form for the former Oxford man, he could well find his place under threat this weekend.

With Chris Wood set to return after missing the midweek game, it looks likely either Roofe or Doukara could be the ones to make way for the in form New Zealander.
