Gayle and Hegazi must start later and should make a huge impact

West Bromwich Albion host Nottingham Forest at The Hawthorns this evening and Darren Moore will have some tough decisions to make.

As West Brom sits in fourth position in the Championship, they will know now more than ever, that they cannot get complacent.

Forest are still chasing a playoff spot as they are just five points away from sixth, albeit having played a game extra, but they will still be aware that the tables can turn very quickly in this division and they will need to be on top off their game tonight.

With that being said, to beat Forest, Moore should make sure this duo start to blow Forest away…

Dwight Gayle

Gayle has netted 16 times this season, scoring in three out of his last four appearances.

The Baggies fans will be hoping he can continue his run of goals against Forest and what makes matters even more impressive, is that is his goalscoring record coming off the left wing.

Saidy Janko will be tough to get the better of, however, if there is one man to do so and cause lots of problems for the Forest backline, it is Gayle.

Ahmed Hegazi

A team that scores lots of goals normally concede a fair share as well. However, West Brom may be the joint top scorers in the division, but they have also been rather solid, with only seven teams in the Championship bettering their defensive record.

A lot of that solidity is down to the pairing of Ahmed Hegazi and Craig Dawson. They must start at the heart of their defence in an attempt to keep Lewis Grabban quiet.

The forward has scored 15 goals in the league this season, so Hegazi and Dawson could have their hands full, but if he is to be nullified, they are the duo to do so.
