Keep, axe or loan? The 2 players who just aren’t good enough for Rangers anymore

Rangers have had an excellent first season back in the top flight on the whole, and despite rivals Celtic running away with the title, can be happy with their progress.

Despite Mark Warburton surprisingly leaving during the season, the Gers now have a new man in charge in Pedro Caixinha, and their fans can look forward to a new era under the Spaniard.

This week in the Tavern, plenty of Rangers fans have been coming through our doors, and talk at the bar among them has centred on the summer ahead and what could potentially be a very busy time at the club in terms of incomings and outgoings.

With Caixinha still being new to the role, he is bound to have his own ideas on what his squad should look like, and this could well mean some Rangers players are in a bit of limbo this summer.

With this in mind, here’s TWO players who could fall into that category…

Michael O’Halloran

Former Bolton man O’Halloran has not made too many appearances this season for the Gers and could well be o the move this summer if things do not improve for him.

Rangers are bound to want to improve their squad this summer, and O’Halloran could be one who suffers.

Kenny Miller

It’s set to be a big summer for the experienced striker, and he could well be one who is on his way when the transfer window opens.

Miller is still good in front of goal and has proven this worth for Rangers already this season, for Pedro Caixinha might well want to bring in his own strike force given a full summer of recruitment.
