Leeds fans will still be celebrating the events that took place yesterday afternoon. The Whites returned to the automatic promotion places as they won whilst Sheffield United lost, and the only thing that would have made it better would have been seeing ex-Leeds striker Steve Morison get crunched after he made a late substitute appearance.

The ex-Leeds man came off the bench for just the last few minutes after Pablo Hernandez had scored his second goal of the game to give the home side the lead, and it was a moment that the home fans would have been waiting for. The Whites held their nerve despite the late introduction of their former man, but they would have loved to have seen someone leave their studs in the veteran striker.
The 35-year-old spent two and a half seasons at Leeds United, although he spent one of those seasons on-loan to his current club Millwall before making the move permanent, and it’s fair to say that no love has been lost between the Elland Road supporters and the Welshman. However, all was well yesterday as Morison failed to make an impact on the game and whilst the home crowd didn’t get their wish of seeing him get crunched, they got the all-important win.
