Marcus Harness will be available for Portsmouth’s League One clash against Bolton Wanderers, as confirmed on their official website.
The 23-year-old has missed Pompey’s last two league matches, as well as the Carabao Cup clash with Southampton through injury, as per Transfermarkt, but is now ready to be selected by Kenny Jackett.
Ellis Harrison will also be available for the game, with the suspension incurred for his two yellow cards against Wycombe Wanderers having come to an end.
Harness was in a brilliant run of form before picking up the injury, as he had scored 3 goals and got 1 assist in his 4 most recent games, as per WhoScored – including the assist against Queens Park Rangers that helped set up Pompey’s Carabao Cup tie with Southampton.
He has also been a threat in the build-up during League One games this season, making 1.2 key passes, 2 dribbles and 1.2 crosses, while being fouled 1.6 times per game.
With Bolton having conceded 24 goals in 8 games this season, as per BBC Sport, Harness’ threat could definitely pay dividends for Pompey.
This is a definite boost for Portsmouth, not just in the upcoming game, but going forward as they look to climb up the table.
They need to start winning games to get out of their current position of 20th in League One, so it is an important time for Harness to come back.
