These 2 players could follow Kouassi Eboue to Celtic this month

For the Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern, there really isn’t much to moan about right now.

With the Hoops looking all but certain to retain their crown, a clean sweep of domestic honours looks likely for Brendan Rodgers’ side this season.

Though there’s still a lot to play for as the Bhoys in the bar dream of going through this season unbeaten, many of our drinkers are hoping the former Liverpool coach is turning his attentions to the next European campaign.

Making the Scottish champions competitive in the continent’s elite competition is surely the next stage of his rebuild at Parkhead and one man looks to be on the verge of joining it.

Kouassi Eboue is expected to join the Hoops imminently from Russian side Krasnodar, though the Ivorian powerhouse may not be the only one to do so.

With that in mind, here are TWO players who could follow Eboue to Celtic in January.

Henri Lansbury

Coming to the end of his deal with Nottingham Forest, Henri Lansbury would be a big coup for the SPFL.

One of the best midfielders in the Championship over the years, the 26-year-old would provide a dynamic option in the middle of the park, chipping in with goals and assists.

Thulani Serero

Ajax midfielder Thulani Serero would be another classy option to keep the ball moving for Celtic and the South African’s ability to find time and space could be crucial to their ball retention.

Thought to be leaving the Dutch capital, he’d be a class signing.
