The Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern are tired of the same old story. Indeed, though life amongst our local Lillywhites got a lot better recently after Harry Kane penned a mega new deal at the club, reaction from other supporters online has been predictable.
As you can imagine, Spurs are eager to continue celebrating Kane after his deal as it was such a major coup for a club outside the truly elite. Kane is undoubtedly one of the best strikers in the world and the fact he’s committed his future to the club, in the long run, is a reason to smile.
However, after they tweeted out a video showing some of his best bits, other fans on Twitter hijacked the post and questioned why he’d stay. Indeed, they all made light of the fact that Tottenham do not have any clips of him lifting trophies with them to celebrate, the stick that certainly has been used to bat Spurs in recent seasons.
With that in mind, here’s a closer look.
