Celtic would have been delighted with their January business and since restarting their league games, the Hoops have been untouchable.
It almost looks and feels like a new team but Brendan Rodgers is right now simply getting the best out of each and every one of his players.
That is a great spectacle for Celtic fans watching on and it would seem it’s again their title to lose this season.
A number of their players have already impressed since arriving, namely the likes of Oliver Burke and Timothy Weah – the ones with goals to their name.
However – having recently made his debut – the loan capture of Jeremy Toljan could easily be the best deal yet.
Toljan, (who is valued at £2.7 million on Transfermarkt) was quite brilliant in the eyes of many and certainly, if he can consistently deliver that level of performance, he would be a very handy permanent acquisition.
The deal came about in the first place due to troubles with Mikael Lustig and Cristian Gamboa, something that after one performance, the loan signing fo Jeremy Toljan seems to have fixed.
With far greater ability on the ball, an extra burst of pace and the experience playing at a top level, Toljan would undoubtedly be a great right-back for Celtic during the rest of the season.
A permanent deal may be easier to come by than some believe, seeing as Toljan only made one appearance for Borussia Dortmund this season and even that was for the U23 side.
Celtic have had major problems at right-back for a number of years, something that would stop being a problem with the permanent capture of the German U21 star.
