Celtic have begun playing with real intent as they attempt to win Brendan Rodgers’ eighth trophy whilst in charge at Celtic Park.
This season, the fans have not witnessed the best performances but still, the Hoops remain top of the Scottish Premiership, a place where they intend to stay.
Brendan Rodgers has a talented bunch of players to choose from and his incomings during the January transfer window have been very influential already.
Yet Celtic could do with some more improvements because there are a few positions on the pitch that still leave the fans feeling uncomfortable.
Mainly, that’s the right-back slot, a role in which Mikael Lustig and Cristian Gamboa often take up.
For how successful Celtic are though, they cannot afford to rely on those two anymore, instead, they have to be targeting a player like Dominic Iorfa, someone left out at Wolves but could do great things at Celtic Park.
Iorfa, (who is valued at £1.8 million on Transfermarkt) is a player that could improve Celtic’s starting line-up without a doubt, even though he hasn’t played for Wolves’ first team this season.
Years ago, the Englishman was supposed to be the next best thing but as he’s progressed, things haven’t worked out for him at Wolves.
He spent last season on-loan with Ipswich, where he made 23 league appearances. This season, he hasn’t yet been granted a move away so his only seven appearances on the pitch have been for Wolves’ U23 side.
Dominic Iorfa still has a lot of time ahead of him to make a name for himself so a move to Celtic could work wonders in revitalising his career.
